Meet Chris and Su, the dynamic duo behind Treasure By The Sea Bonaire. A vibrant adventurous couple, their love for the ocean is boundless; they immerse themselves in the underwater world through snorkeling, scuba diving, and freediving, captivated by Bonaire's rich marine life.
Together, they live on their boat and are currently circumnavigating the world, but Treasure By The Sea Bonaire is the place they call home.

Their shared love for Bonaire extends to exploring its trails, discovering its natural wonders, and enjoying breathtaking vistas. They cherish moments spent with friends, enjoying spirited poker games and laughter-filled gatherings. With their zest for life and boundless enthusiasm, Chris and Su embody the essence of island living in Bonaire, offering their guests a welcoming and memorable experience.
OUR DOG
Meet Jolie, our lovable rescue dog who has been living on Bonaire since 2015! With her warm demeanor, she's prone to greeting visitors as they come and go. She knows the island’s walking trails like the back of her paw and will happily lead the way. Just ask Verna & Daniëlle for her leash, and Jolie will take you on a fun outdoor adventure.
She’s a pro at commands like sit, stay, and even giving you her left or right paw - just ask her to show off a trick before offering a treat. Whether it’s exploring or enjoying some relaxed downtime on the patio, Jolie is the perfect companion!

Meet Pablo, Verna & Daniëlle's beloved light orange tabby who’s mastered the art of shyness! Adopted from the local Animal Shelter Bonaire, this sweet 4-year-old furball is as gentle as they come. Pablo prefers to stick close to home, and you'll often find him cautiously peeking around corners like he's about to star in his own detective movie.​​

Though he’s got the heart of a lion (a very tiny, timid lion), Pablo tends to startle easily. If you catch his wide-eyed "is everything going to be okay?" look, don't worry! He’ll relax once he knows you're friendly, and then he might even grace you with his adorable company. Just don't expect him to make the first move - Pablo is all about taking things slow!
